Should those who do not believe that Muslim means one who surrenders to Allah be regarded as true Muslims? No, rationally not. Beware of claims and of similarity in sound. Be aware of misspelling. And do not be misled by any wrong definition or translation. Salam and salaam in Arabic are not the same in meaning. Salam is, or relates to surrender, but salaam certainly means peace. And precisely, surrender and peace are not the same in meaning. The Arabic spelling for salam is “sin-lam-mim”, but the spelling for salaam is “sin-lam-alif-mim”. Some experts say that the root word for Islam and Muslim is salam, but do not equalize salam with salaam. Get it? And truly, the spelling for Islam in Arabic should be “alif-sin-lam-mim”, not “alif-sin-lam-alif-mim”.
Understand that “alif-sin-lam-alif-mim” is or should be the Arabic spelling for Islaam, not Islam. Notice the two “a”s in Islaam. But why the widely used Arabic spelling for Islam is “alif-sin-lam-alif-mim”? Is it the work of the Christians or the Jews? Hmm, is it not due to the work of the Munafiqs, aka Hypocrites? Allah knows. Anyway, where is the true or genuine Quran, or the “Quran” that was used by Muhammad, Rasulullah, or by the first 4 caliphs after him, so that we can find out the spelling of “Islam” in it? Rationally, “alif-sin-lam-alif-mim” is not or should not be the Arabic spelling for Islam, but for Islaam. And rationally, who want us to believe that Islam means peace, not surrender? Is it the Christians? Is it the Jews? Hmm, is it not actually the Munafiqs? Actually, who directly or indirectly teach that it is not necessary to worship Allah, only Allah, and to surrender to Allah, in order to enter Islam or to become Muslim, despite the teachings of Allah contained in verse 1 to 3 of surah Kafirun, and despite the fact that Muslim means one who surrenders to Allah? Who want us to believe that “bear witness” is as same as “declare” or “testify”? And actually, who contradict or do not believe the teachings of the Quran regarding syahadah and hadith and sunnah and ulama?
Anyway, “lam-alif” in Arabic is equal to “laa”, not “la”. And “lam-alif-mim” is equal to “laam”, not “lam”. Therefore, “alif-sin-lam-alif-mim” is or should be the Arabic spelling for Islaam, not Islam, as “sin-lam-alif-mim” is or should be the spelling for salaam, not salam. The fact is, one who is in Islam is called Muslim, not Muslaam, nor Mislaam, nor Maslaam, and the fact is, Muslim means one who surrenders, therefore, Islam should mean surrender for Muslim to mean one who surrenders. Surrender to whom? To Allah, of course. Precisely, Muslim means one who surrenders to Allah, therefore, surrendering to Allah is necessary for anyone to become a Muslim. Allah is the sole creator of Islam, therefore, the true Islamic teachings are dependent solely on Allah. And Allah, not any ulama of Sunnis, nor any imams of Shias, is the true witness that Muhammad is a Rasulullah. So?
