Whose words is the Bible? And should you trust the Bible rather than the Quran? The Bible says that Jesus Christ was crucified, but no, Jesus Christ was not crucified, according to the Quran. So, which book tells the truth regarding the crucifixion of Jesus Christ? Imagine yourself saying, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why have you abandoned me?" while you are being nailed or tied to a crucifix to let die. Imagine. Dare imagine. And feel. So, are you someone who is willing to be sacrificed or killed? And the lingua franca was Aramaic, not Hebrew, not Yiddish, as the Israelites and the Jews were a minority. The Bible and the Quran are not in agreement regarding the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In what other matter are the Bible and the Quran in contradiction or in disagreement? Surely, a book is words of its author, but the Bible is not authored by God, therefore the Bible should not be regarded as Words of God. And verily, entering Islam or becoming a Muslim is not by saying the "Syahadah" (Shahada). The Quran, not the human authored Hadith, nor the human authored Bible is the book to ponder and trust. Surely, there are many reasons to believe, and there are many reasons to disbelieve. And satans are capable of embellishing fallacies and stupidities. Remember, truths and teachings of Allah should be accepted, no matter what. To Allah we belong. And to Allah we are returned.

And consider the following translations of Quran 4:157 and 6:116-117 by Saheeh International: And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.
